Description
The Littelfuse AF0500 is a microprocessor-based arc flash detection relay limiting arc fault damage. The AF0500 detects the light from an arc flash and rapidly trips the feeder breaker. Effective for switchgear, transformer, motor controls and power converter applications.
Easily configure zone tripping, upstream breaker tripping and tie breaker tripping applications.
Health monitoring of sensors, inputs and connections ensures fail-safe operation with front-panel and sensor LEDs for fast fault location. A secondary solid-state trip circuit provides a redundant trip path.
Access event logs and configure the unit with the USB port. A number of control inputs allows interconnection of multiple AF0500 units to form a system.
