The Scorpion features a brushless DC motor. A DC ceiling fan uses 70% less energy for the same airflow as a conventional AC fan.
In particular the Scorpion is perfect indoor and enclosed alfresco installations. The Scorpion has a tropical rating therefore suitable in coastal environments.
The Scorpion DC is also available with a 20W Tricolour LED Light.
